Grabbed this on Bandcamp whilst watching it being played live at The Dome. Tears welled up as the final crescendo peaked and had it been the end of my cycle, I would have happily spontaneously combusted, I then realised it was only dawn and the first of the triptych, so I will soldier on, at least until dusk and endure another two stellar opus’s before I can embark on that final journey. The reason is summarized in the reason why I love extreme doom: it's a matter of focus, intentions that never get diverted from one nature: the appeal for doom, and all emotions, visions, states of being the term implies.. It's a one-colour core that makes the whole. The limits of Arche's music embraces all doom is about; how can I not be very pleased with that?
